note: He actually recommended the song. himself. (and I totally agree). So I swear this time, it did NOT go like this:

We heart Elvis

Yeap, it is true that happiness is just around the corner. You thought you'd be happy when you win 20 million euro New Year lottery. BUT you are also happy, just receiving a thoughtful gift from your boyfriend. He just gave me the most important thing (at least for me)of the year. The classiest and smartest agenda I've ever had.

Knowing that he really knows what I need, meaning he's been watching, evaluating, considering.. (and listening to some constant hint - of course-, "oh, dear..i really need an organizer.."). Ow, thank you ...thank you.. you made my day.

Also, it really is sad that Christmas here is so commercial. Everything is about giving presents, large xmas trees and lamps, but nothing about Jesus.

hello blog... new year reception is coming. JCC will hold a huge new year reception (just like every other year) on Jan 26, expecting around 500 guests. It is THE event of the year that the members&clients have been expecting.... they learn that seducing potential business partners is easier when they are full and drunk.

Anyway, hoping to have more days to sleep on my keyboard, I already sent the invitations last Friday. But still, 2 days after, almost 100 guests are already sending back the r.s.v.p. ookay..i started preparing the guests list. and can you believe that the hardest part of making this list is to determine which names are Mr. and which are Mrs/Ms.

I skipped checking on the invoices, there are too many and I will wait for someone else to double check them.. I was really having fun designing the guest book until the copy machine broke down. s.w.e.e.t . .

So, now what.. I have nothing (that I want) to do until the technician come.

This morning, before leaving home, Ratna asked what unexpected question would she got on a job interview.(btw, she got the position! congrats!!) I told her, it could be about payment, or what other companies do you apply for, I also remembered Dita's blog about which animal would you be (hehe..it's really unexpected but makes lot of sense to see one's personality from the answer).

So, if the interviewer asked you which other companies do you apply for; it could be that they want to know how interested are you in their company OR are you just doing: eenee meenee minee moow..
Just give the honest answers but please eliminate the companies which have nothing in common with the others.

Second is about the salary.

Sometimes it's a tricky question, sometimes the company really doesn't have a clue.
People have taught me many ways to answer, but I found this one's the best (from HR manager) :

*the good looking interviewer: "How much do you want to be paid?"
*you : "I believe your company already have a good standard for this matter" --nice, eh?
*the good looking interviewer: "I really do not know, please tell me"
-so he really doesn't know ?-
*you: "From my colleagues experiences, they were paid blablabla euros a month, (blablabla = acceptably good amount) this amount is enough for my rent and transport."

But when you have the guts, just answer: "5000 euros a month! "
Maybe they'll like your honesty.

the guts: the interviewer looks like a verry nice guy or you are applying for a job as a game tester(or something like that)..wuhuuy..

Dita kept asking how do we know which one is our soulmate? I also keep wishing that God would show a clearer message.

Starting a new relationship was like a hobby for me. All the excitements, ow.. he's so sweet, so special, so charming..and any stupid move he does will seem like a brilliant piece of art to me.

How lovely those times were... Hence, girls like me (I know I'm not the only one) leap around from one prince to another, with a sweet smile, hoping to find those feelings again, and again, and again!

I will only stop leaping when I'm in a crossroad, having no other choice but to stop. Think. Choose. Right or left. him or him ?
At this cant-make-up-my-mind-please-i'm-going-crazy stage, I would take pencil and paper, making a scheme, it looks like this:

Hohohoho... in a real life, I did get a long relationship from this kind of scheme once..
I chose the guy with more items on the (+) sides;
I got a very patient, handsome, popular in school, sporty, great parents, kind, affectionate boyfriend -- who did not know how to make an email account.

I knew I was looking in the wrong categories. I was looking for the best boyfriend among the boys, not the best for me. If 'dullness in technology' (atau gap-tek) doesn't annoy another girl, how perfect is he!!

Slowly but sure, I got tired of leaping around. Not because of my weight.
I'm pretty sure it's my age.
I can stop saying that the relationship did not work out because: "you change!!", rather admitting my faults: I only know what I wanted to know.

Before trying to choose and love someone, I think you shoud love yourself first.
Love who you are, know what you want.
Do not misunderstand about not wanting to hurt them or not wanting to loose any one of them. We just need to be a big girl and learn to love any concequences and regrets from our decision.

It cant be worse than loosing both of them.
